With the addition of Pupperazzi, Kitfox Games is easily one of the most well-rounded publishers (and developers) around today. As a publisher, Kitfox’s upcoming releases include Viewport Games’ Mondo Museum. As a developer/publisher, the Montreal-based company (hello from down the 417!) is behind two upcoming games, both very exciting and very different: Boyfriend Dungeon, a kickstarter-backed game where you fight through a dungeon to save your boyfriends (who also happen to be a weapon that can be equipped, some lovely social commentary no?), and Lucifer Within Us, where you play as a digital exorcist. And it’s a familiar name: Kitfox Games! I’ve written about Kitfox before, but a brief introduction is in order. Slow motion zooming helps capture mid-air moments that actually make you feel something. Double jump across buildings to get that lucrative shot of a local dog celebrity just trying to live their life. (Tip: try changing the outfit of the dog if not working to ONLY have kneepads on.Pupperazzi is exactly the game I need right now, and I’m sure many others would agree. Kneepads = Find the skatepark on Bubby Boardwalk (2nd area unlocked) and take a picture of a skating dog. Throw a hotdog (Tip: obtained from the picnic table outside, look and you will find it) into the water inside the cave and a sea dragon should start swimming in the water. Showing off = Get the big stick from the vending machine and give it to a small dog. Spooked = Place the vacuum (Tip: can be obtained from the vending machine, I got mine on the Muttropolis level) near a dog and snap a picture. Sure, there are ways to tweak the photos via lenses and filters, but there’s not much beyond that. Once digging into the game, it’s clear that there isn’t too much beyond the basic concept of collecting adorable photographs. (Tip: if its hard to get a shot once you unlock the UFO for the camera this may be easier!) Pupperazzi immediately impresses with its adorable dogs bounding across a variety of colorful levels. You may have to get a picture of the dog doing a trick on the half pipe. Tony Bark = At the skatepark on Buppy Boardwalk. Sad = Play the Violin (Tip: if not found you can obtain from the store/vending machine, I got mine on the Muttropolis level) right near a dog and then quickly snap a picture of them. If you don't know what you're missing go to the overworld and click on home, you can view your Puppypedia from there.
